This is a letter sent by the US Ski Team in 1965 to let my father know that he had been selected to attend their Christmas training camp in Glen Ellen.
It is rare today to receive communication that is this direct and authentic:
“Please come to the camp ready to learn and in good physical condition. You’ll be wasting our time and yours if you’re not.”
Sometimes to look forward, it is important to look to the past. A more authentic world is a happier world.
