Wordpress 2.0!
A great day is upon us, with lots of fun new features. Here on the day after Christmas, and the first day of Hanukkah, a newly spiced up Wordpress is available.
With it, for me, comes a new blog design. Look for it near the end of “break.” Time to throw my personal expression out there in the form of XHTML, CSS, and Javascript…and maybe even a few images. This modified default...
Quote of the Day
Google’s quote of the day is one of my favorite ever. The quote I basically live my life by:
Generation Gap
At dinner with my parents tonight:
Me: “I’ve got your back mom.”
Mom: “Oh no! You inherited my bad back too?”
Sister: *Laughing uncontrollably*
Me: “No mom, you know, I’ve got you’ve covered…everything is under control…”
Mom: “I’ve never heard that before.”
Sister:*Still laughing*
Idea A Day
Now here’s an interesting one to think about…

Idea A Day
Where Ideas Are Free
Welcome to Day 1951
Create an online country. New citizens will be allocated a place in
society at random. Their status will change through interactions (or lack
of them)with other citizens. Once a substantial population is in place

I’ve been using this thing for a couple of months now, and testing out different Palm apps. Here’s, what I believe, is everything you need:

Quote of the Day
I find Google’s quote of the day to be quite profound:
“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if they can’t find them, make them.”
- George Bernard Shaw
Clarification
Just to clarify, as I have been getting quite a few responses to my last post. AMEX did not steal my idea. Nor am I necessarily sure they stole anyone’s idea. But, woot.com, as far as I knew, were the pioneers behind the “one day, one deal” idea.
I was originally pointed to woot.com by Seth Godin’s blog, back in September of 2004.
Sorry for the confusion. Happy Monday...
AMEX
Though they stole the idea, My Wishlist, is a fantastic buzz driving concept. Check it out.
